How to register a Motor Vehicle in Odisha?Â
RTO Odisha offers both temporary and permanent registration of vehicles in the state. It is mandatory for every vehicle owner to register the vehicle with RTO Odisha.
Temporary registration is provided by the vehicle dealer when a person buys a new vehicle. The owner of the new vehicle fills an application form for temporary RC and submits it along with all the required documents with the dealer. The dealer, in turn, submits the form and the documents with the relevant RTO Odisha. A temporary registration number is provided which is valid for 1 year.
Permanent registration of the vehicle needs to be done with RTO Odisha within a year of issuance of temporary registration. The application form along with the required documents need to be submitted at the RTO. Applicable fee needs to be paid.
